Why should I attend a life group?
No matter where you are on your spiritual journey, we think it’s important to travel with others, and Life Groups provide this. Life is just better when you make meaningful connections.
How long are Life Groups?
Typically, Life Groups last around 90 minutes.
Is this an every week commitment, forever?
Actually no. Most groups meet the first three weeks of the month, leaving the 4th and 5th weeks off. Life Groups meet from September through May, taking December and summers off. Sometimes there will be parties or activities during the break times.
Where are life groups held?
Most groups are held in homes for a warm, casual atmosphere. To find out what group is in your neighborhood, check below.
What can I expect at a Life Group?
We are so glad you decided to attend and you will be warmly welcomed. There are refreshments like coffee and tea and there’s always snacks. Typically, there’s a social time of just hanging out and catching up with each other or meeting new friends.
What’s the format like?
The Life Group leaders begin with an opening prayer followed by an icebreaker question. You may feel free to participate or sit back and observe in an easy, comfortable environment. The order may vary, but the group will read the Life Group questions. These questions are found in the Sunday Sermon Notes from the previous Sunday. Finally, there’s a short time of prayer where you can request prayer if you like. Typically, there’s more fellowship following the group time or you may feel free to leave.
What about my kids?
Some Life Groups are kid-friendly, while others are geared for adults only. Let us help you find one that’s just right for you.
