Network Pastor Philip Thompson

It is my desire to help you discover yourself in Christ. When you learn what God has specifically designed you for, it gives meaningful purpose to your life. Then continue to grow in your relationship with Jesus Christ and fulfill God's Word in 2 Peter 3:18 "But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and forever! Amen."

We have great opportunities to grow and learn through our worship service on Sundays at 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 and our Wednesday night classes at 6:30 p.m.

About our Network Pastor:

Philip Thompson was raised in the country of Mexico, born to missionary parents. In 1984, Philip married his wife, Tamera. They have two daughters, five grandsons and one granddaughter. Philip served as a Chaplain’s Assistant in the United States Navy from 1984 to 1990.

In 1993 he completed his Bachelors of Theology Degree from International Bible College, San Antonio, Texas. Shortly thereafter, he was called to serve as a staff pastor at Destiny Church, San Antonio, Texas. In 1996, he was called to be the Senior Pastor of Victory Church, Waupaca, Wisconsin, where he serves to date. In June 2007, he earned a Master of Arts Degree in Organizational Leadership from Crown College, Minnesota.

In 2012 Philip began serving as the Chairman of the International Ministerial Association. His ministerial passion is to organize ministry for maximum impact. His organizational theories for small and mid-size community churches have proven themselves in a number of settings including his own. In recent years, he has been called on to assist pastors in the development of strategic plans in both English and Spanish speaking churches.

Philip is also a motor sports enthusiast. At the top of his list are airplanes and snowmobiles. The long Wisconsin winters give plenty of opportunity to race snowmobiles and restore antique airplanes. As an instrument rated pilot, Philip enjoys flying short-term mission trips.
